In the darkest of times come the greatest ideas.

We define ourselves by our strengths and our weaknesses. How do we react in moments of despair? Do we break down or rise up?

I choose to rise up and seek opportunities. Today is another day where I find opportunity. I recently launched a sister brand, Intimate Celebrations. Today, on Mother's Day, I launch the third sister brand, Naty Designs.

I wanted to make sure I launched today in honor of my sweet mother. The business name is in her honor, as her name was Naty...short for Natividad. I wanted to incorporate my mom's signature into the logo design...not sure why, but I always loved her penmanship, even though she hated her handwriting.

My mom was always the creative in our family and she loved being the perfect host, even though my dad was quite the opposite. Haha.

I chose pink [more like raspberry] for her name as a tribute to her fight against breast cancer. One thing about my mom, she was a fighter to the very end. I like to think my inner strength comes from my mom.

Naty Designs is a business I had been thinking about for the past 7-8 months, but time was never really on my side until now. Much work needs to be done, so excited to see where Naty Designs will take me. Stationery design is a service we have provided for our clients, under the umbrella of the primary company, A Day To Remember, but found the need to finally separate, to allow for expanded services under the new brand.
